(b. 1981) American hip-hop/rap artist from Burlington VT, whose style is mainly lo-fi, underground, and political/battle in nature. Largely influenced by 90's East Coast acts such as Wu-Tang Clan, Redman, and Canibus, J-Kwest has worked with members of rap groups Sunz Of Man and The Society Of Invisibles, and releases material digitally under the BlazeStar Inc. imprint. Reportedly has not released long-awaited debut album due to perfectionist complex, among other reasons.
