-Referring to John Elway's successful comeback in the 1987 AFC Championship game against the Cleveland Browns where he led an infamous 98 yard drive to win the game
2. to "choke" or fail horribly in a pressure filled situation
-Referring to John Elway's equally infamous failures to win three Super Bowls in the 1986, 1987, and 1989 seasons
Note: Such a definition may not be entirely proper considering Elway won two Super Bowls in the '97 and '98 seasons thus disproving his tendency to "choke"
