What is John England?

A man who once visited our school. He was very fun and cool. All the kids liked him and got his autograph after the show he put on. Three years later, he was arrested for sexual molestation of an eight year old boy. Usually used to describe a person that was once highly regarded and now has fallen in public opinion due to something they have done.
Man Micheal Jackson really pulled a John England when he supposedly molested those boys.

An infamous Texas celebrity that was famous for his speeches at Texas schools. He was arrested in 2007 for molesting two children. The children described in detail the abuse that took place over the course of six years. Due to a procedural mistake some main evidence was unable to be used in court. Due to this the prosecution had no choice but to drop the charges against him, to much outcry. A civil suit was quickly brought against John England, which was quickly settled out of court for a rumored six figures.
His name is commonly referred to when someone avoids something horrible by sheer dumb luck.

Person 2: No way! The kids in Dallas really John England' their way out of being molested by him.

After being convicted of child molestation by an anonymous party, the Leander authorities are in the process of aquitting John of all charges of child molestation as there is currently not decisive evidence needed to obtain a verdict of "Guilty." The identity was never revealed of the cowardly party whom originally accused John England of wrong-doing. Public outcry has risen demanding restitutions in response to John's tarnished reputation. John had little time to comment when approached by journalists on the steps of the courthouse, but he encouraged his enraged supporters to refrain from physical violence. To heroically show such patience, understanding, and self-control when threatened by life's hurdles, is to be like John England.

Popular celebrity in Leander, Texas who visited our school. He gave a speech on how he gained fame after taking 2 orphaned children with mental disabilities, named Levi and Jonathan, into his home and raising them. The story was later published in a local newspaper and the town now praises him for such a selfless act. He asked us and the other students if we would like to participate in his fundraiser to help other mentally disabled people like poor Levi. We all think that John is the epitome of what every human should strive to be like if this world is to ever be a better place. He is sometimes referred to as, "Texas Champion" or "The man who can do no wrong". Me and the other students want to grow up to be just like him. Now when someone does something really great, we call them "John England". Sometimes it gets kind of confusing though, but we all laugh about it.
Richard saved a puppy from a burning building. That's something John England would do.
