Johnny and the Moon is a Canadian indie rock band, fronted by Dante DeCaro of Hot Hot Heat and Wolf Parade. Based in Shawnigan Lake, British Columbia, the band also includes Lindy Gerrard and Mark Devoe.

The band released its self-titled debut album in 2006 on Kill Devil Hills Records.

Johnny and the moon is a soulful folk rock extravaganza employing yelps, dirty trash barrels and banjos.
