a juggalo is a follower of Insane Clown Posse. they tend to be radically devoted to said band. from what i hear, they are NOT ALL psycho, white trash, pot-head, ignorant, ill informed bigots. but the many that i have had the pleasure to meet ARE.

Brainless selfish morons that live under the illusion that the entire world is against them. Fact is, they're not important enough for anyone to actually care. These people are outcasts because they want to be, my thought is that they think it's fashionable when they're really just a small insignificant pimple on society's ass. They're the real "haters", they can't stand anyone that isn't them. Pick any Juggalo website (or anti-Juggalo) and read their posts, they'd like to annihilate every other social group in the world, every other level of society. I've had a chance to speak with some of the Juggalos, they, as a group, are so ultra-violent that some (sick as it may be) actually have a plan to systematically cleanse the world of every one that is not "Down with the clown!" I thought that being part of the clown culture was all about (how do you guys say it..) "PHAM-I-LY, PHAM-I-LY..." I saw the line for the Shaggy show in Denver this last weekend, fights, drunks, an accused rape, trash all over the street, I don’t ever expect to be inside the clown culture or even to understand it, but I came here hoping to get maybe a feel for it. Hell, his last weekend I even went as far as to ask a couple of people that call themselves Juggalos', but all I got was some drunken, pathetic run about “haters” (or hatas') and a demand to vote for sugar. All that family and ninja talk, it’s all just a bunch of crap, isn’t it. You folks are the real “hatas'“aren’t you. You throw full soda bottles at passing cars of people that never did anything to you, you wrecked the only venue in Denver that would dare to have the Juggalo’s come and worship their god, and now I understand that Twiztid show will be the last of the Juggalo shows to ever play there and you guyz can’t even get along here on the web. Some PHAMILY! I don’t look crossways at the Juggalos for not being like me, god knows, I’m a pretty square person. I don’t have what it would take to ever be a part of the clown culture, but I think it’s interesting and mysterious. I only hope to ever view it from the outside though, I could never hate the way you guyz do, nor could I ever show the complete lack of respect for other people that the clowns do. WOOT WOOT !!

A juggalo is, basically, an ICP(Insane Clown posse) fan. In, Behind The Paint, and ICP documentary, Violent J explains that while performing "The Juggla" (from the album Carnival of Carnage) he randomly yelled out to the audience "What about you Juggalo? Are there any Juggalos in here?" Since then the name has stuck.
The name refers to both males and females even though many females have adapted to call themselves Juggalettes.

Juggalos are hard to find. Many people paint their faces, sport the axe and say that they are Juggalos, but it takes more than that. It takes someone to look at a person, not people. People are grouped so often, by stereotypes based on their race, where they live, what kind of music they listen to. TRUE juggalos look past all this shit and see each person for who they are. If you are a good person then true Juggalos will be cool with you, but if you are a douchebag who beats your wife, it doesnt matter what kind of music you listen to, what car you drive, you are a piece of shit. Actions are what true Juggalos base their opinions on, not stereotypes.
Juggalos also have clown love, and love for life in general. Other than that Juggalos basically just need to be fans of Psychopathic records.
Every Juggalo/ette walks his/her path. And true juggalo/ettes respect that every person needs to walk their own path. You lose their respect if you become a bad person.
Oh yeah....and us Juggalos still paint our faces and sport the axe every once in a while too. So i'll see all the Juggalos in Shangri-La while all these haters fry in the pit.

A Fan of Psychopathic Records. Some, one, or all the artists, regardless if you listen closely to the music from the first jokers card to the last it tells a story, it gives examples on basically how not to live your life, and it also preaches religion, love for one another, regardless of "Juggalo" status, and respect. Generally a "Juggalo" is just an average "Joe" that has a lot of the same views as the artists of psychopathic, those being religious, political, social, moral, and ethical views. Not all juggalos are violent. In fact, most are peaceful, fun loving citizens, who do not go around robbing, hacking people with a hatchet, or hijacking minivans. The reason why "Juggalos" as a group are defined as "ignorant" or "bigot" or "violent" is because most of the news and information making headlines about juggalos are horrible crimes. Before you go ahead and write a definition on a certain type of person, or a group of people, please don't stereo type by mass media, headlines, hearsay, or any other means than pure, scientific, RESEARCH. If you look "Behind the Paint" you will see that 17 out of 20 juggalos fit my description, 85%. So don't base your opinion on a MINORITY, look at the picture as a whole.
*And yes i happen to be a juggalo, not because i'm an "outcast" or "insane" or "don't fit in" its because i agree with the views and opinions of psychopathic artists. as a matter of fact i have been Spreading MCL since i was 13, i am now 22, so for 9 years i have been down with the clown. I was very popular in school, Graduated at the age of 16 valedictorian. as of this being written i am currently age 22 and a PROFESSOR @ GVT in Greenville, SC. 169 iq (31 points below EINSTEIN) so for those of you who have classified juggalos in general as stupid. Your definition is now NULL and INVALID please be CIVILIZED and APPEND your entry and if your entry is pure speculation, just remove it.

*Note: The violence described here in this last example is actually a true example what would happen if this was a real situation. The kid was not beaten for being DOWN WITH THE CLOWN he was beaten because he was an idiot. And the stripping of the shirt or anything psy releated was so that person would no be associated with the juggalo community and is NOT a robbery, its meant to be demeaning
