A bet made by a degenerate gambler to cover losses from previous bets. The odds are usually highly against a winning out come for the gambler and if so, the payout is much larger than the risk.
I lost a G to the dog because the sox lost last night... so I put in like three junkie parlays on west coast games late last night.
