What is Kanthatosis?

A highly contagious disease resulting in numerous failing grades on quizzes. Historically named after the infamous CU professor responsible for concocting the disease in his office on an afternoon in Mid-January, 2008. Unfortunately, no known cure exists.
Dear professor, our class has come down with kanthatosis so it is likely that we will not be able to take your quiz today and pass it. Please excuse all of us. Thank you.
