What is Katrinans?

The displaced people from New Orleans who moved to Texas (and other nearby states) following Hurricane Katrina. Many of these people still don't have jobs and blame the government for their situation. Katrinans are frequently blamed for the rising crime rate, lower land value, and influx of stink, filth, and garbage into once-livable Texas neighborhoods.

Bill: Hey, Steve, didn't that Goodwill used to be a Macy's?

Steve: Yeah, but all these damn Katrinans with no job put 'em out of business. All they want are handouts.
