Keichu-do

What is Keichu-do?

1.

Keichu do is a style of martial arts that primarily combines Karate, Judo, Jujutsu, and "street fighting" techniques. It was first thought to women in Lousiana until Karl "Sokke" Marx organized the style and got it accredited. It is now one of the most effective martial arts around because of it effectiveness in a street fight. If you are looking for fighting as a sport like MMA in the UFC dont go to a keichu do dojo. Keichu do doesnt train students to fight in contact SPORTS, where there are rules, only to fight out in the street where everything goes. However Keichu Do students do participate in light contact point sparring where control and technique is key. Keichu do students also compete in kata.

Future martial arts student: "Hey do you know where I can find a martial arts studio that is well rounded in all kinds of fighting techniques"

Experienced Martial Artist: "Well, Keichu-Do is a style that combines clinch, grappling and striking techniques for self defence"
