Kicking Dragons is a term used to describe the act of smoking marijuana. The origin of the phrase is not known for sure but it is believed that it is either a loose translation from old chinese slang used to describe the act or that it originated in California during the 1980's by a group of people for unknown reasons.

"Kate and I are about to kick some dragons, want to come over?"
