Kilgore Trout lived almost his entire life unrecognized by the public, being that he was only published in porn magazines. Eventually though, he was put in the spotlight by the millionaire Eliot Rosewater. It's all documented in the book, Slaughterhouse Five.

I think that the idea that Kilgore Trout existed in fiction stories is much cooler than the fact that you exist in real life.
