Kiyon

What is Kiyon?

1.

A Kiyon is when you let everyone at work know you are not feeling well OR you come into work but leave early cause you are supposedly not feeling well. Since everyone is now fully aware you are not feeling well, you can take Friday off. But wait, it gets better. This is a 3-day weekend, which means party time!!!! How convenient.

Pronunciation: (Key-on)

Word Origin: Korean

Latin Translation: lentesco

You email everyone on Thursday afternoon letting them know that you are going home because you are not feeling well. Then Friday rolls around and you have a built-in extended weekend because everyone, (co-workers) knows you are not feeling well, thus performing a Kiyon.
