What is Kla?

A guerilla military formation which emerged in defense of Kosova and the 90% of its Albanian population who were living the throes of tyranny and dehumanizing oppression by the Serbian regime. Its public emergence in 1998 led to a severe war waged by Milosevic government which was dealt a blow by the KLA's resistance despite its being outnumbered and outgunned. KLA's self-defensive war was internationally recognized when it was officially represented at the peace negotiations in Ramboulliet conference, which eventually led to the transformation of KLA into the Kosova Protection Corps.
KLA's fierce resistance and the rising rage of the Serbian Army led to the exacerbation of the war and this ultimately made the international community to immerse into a 70-day airstrike aganist Serbia in order to end the atrocities and the ethnic cleansing.
