What is Kmarqs?

A currency used by the relatively small Marquis tribe that inhabits the Spanish speaking colonies outside of the Boston area.
The tribe's members have been known to worship cats, specifically domesticated kittens, as they are particularly "fuzzy" and "adorable."
A large majority of the tribe are "easily frightened" and, although it has never been recorded, are most likely deathly afraid of the dark.
The mating habits of the tribe have been described as very "angry." The wise elders of the Marquis tribe declare that there is simply "nothing wrong with it."
"No no no... the deal was for 5 Kmarqs... why don't you just give me the US Dollar equivalent: 25 cents?"
