What is K'olla?

Pronounced "coya"; refers to bolivians living, residing or of western bolivian descent. Peoples of Cochabamba, La Paz, Oruro, and other western cities are often reffered to as k'olla. ongoing dispute in between k'ollas and Cambas are well known to Bolivians. Term derived from the Quechuan word "Kollasuyo".

-"where did Sergio say he was from?"

-"La Paz. Does that make him a camba?"

-"no, that makes him a K'olla."
