What is Kongism?

N.(singular) A statement, not necessarily entirely fact, presented with confidence and authority. Often said by, but not exclusive to the Kong family.
me: Banana hangars, designed to ripen bananas quickly, trick the banana into thinking it is still on the tree.
you: I'm not sure that is correct, but you say it with such confidence that I am inclined to believe you.
me: Alas... it is a kongism.
