In the pc/console game, Call of Duty II, when you are in a crouched or prone position, it is very easy for enemy German soldiers ("Krauts") to stomp on the back of your head, effectively killing you. This action is therefore known as "Kraut Stomping."
In the Battle of Stalingrad, I was killed as I was crouching. I had been Kraut Stomped.
