Meteorologist Kristen Cornett is one of the most respected people i ever seen in my life and is the newest member of the KMOV 4 Warn Storm Team, She joined the team in October 2007 and provide the weather for News 4 at Noon, Monday through Wednesday, on Saturdays for the 5 pm, 6pm and 10pm newscasts and on Sundays for the 5:30pm and 10pm newscasts, During the week, you may catch Kristen filling in for Matt on News 4 This Morning or helping out during 4 Warn Storm Mode coverage tracking storms in the studio on the web or live in the field.
Kristen grew up in Lexington, Kentucky where she became fascinated with severe weather at an early age. She earned her degree in Geoscience with an emphasis in meteorology from Mississippi State University.
Kristen earned the Seal Of Approval of the American Meteorological Society in 1999
Kristen Cornett enjoys scuba diving, Working out, traveling and discovering all there is to see and do her new home in St. Louis!
