It is used in this way, because of their similarities with the Kudzu Plant:
1. They are both invasive species, imported from foreign soil.
2. They both grow at an uncontrollable rate, seeming to simply pop up overnight.
3. They are impossible to exterminate, and finally have the area rid of them.
Appropriate substitute for "Nigger."
Those damn Kudzu are breaking into the liquor store again.
