What is L85a1?

A highly accurate assault rifle, part of the SA80 weapon family, that is standard issue for the British Army. Featured as the unlockable weapon for the Medic kit in the game Battlefield 2.

The M16 and AK-47 are decent weapons in BF2, but for non-sniper accuracy, one can't beat the L85A1.

A 5.56mm Rifle. Most of it is green. An enhaced version of it's brother the L85.

This is one of the many guns featured in Tome Clancey's Rainbow Sic 3.
