What is Labyrinth?
1.
A film with a huge cult following which centres round the story of Sarah, a teenager who's wicked step-mother makes her stay in and babysit her half-brother, Toby. When Sarah is fed up with Toby's endless crying she wishes the Goblin King would take him away, and he obliges. When she finds Toby gone she suddenly regrets her actions and pleades for him to be returned. Jareth, the Goblin King appears (David Bowie) and tells her that if she can reach the centre of the Labyrinth within 13 hours she can have her baby brother back. Thus begins a tale of courage, adventure, friendship and action which culminates with a creepy scene where Sarah has to reach Toby in an upside down, inside out maze of stairs.
David Bowie performed the songs in the feature and these include true greats such as "Underground", "Magic Dance", "Chilly Down", "As The World Falls Down" and "Within You". Also recommended is the movie soundtrack...
Most people have seen the film in their childhood (80's kids) and have memories of it being a scary, catchy and trippy movie.
This film has become a widely loved classic and the movie still stands the test of time today. A must-see for all fantasy followers.
Labyrinth- "Magic Dance" intro.

1. A delightful film created in the 1980s to provide insight into a young girl's life, transitioning from childhood to adulthood. With muppets. Staring Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie.
2. An intricate structure of interconnecting passages through which it is difficult to find one's way; a maze.
3. The coolest movie next too "The Breakfast Club" for your everyday emo 80s throwback to own.
4. Another David Bowie publicity stunt.
Labyrinth is like so scene.
