Lake Charles is a small town (about 80K people) located in Southwest Louisiana about 30 miles to the east of the Texas Border. The city is on a lake (Lake Charles) and its primary industries are petroleum refining, LNG, gasification, importing/exporting, casinos and offshore oil production support.

McNeese State University is located in Lake Charles. Bird watching, Hunting and fishing are popular sporting activities in the area. Mardi Gras and Contraband Days are large events for the city.

The pace is pretty slow, but the city is about to see some large growth. There are some major projects in the near future.

Lake Charles is between Lafayette and Beaumont.

Retarded city in Southwest Louisiana. There is nothing to do there except go to the mall or maybe go to the theater. There are hardly any people in Lake Charles that are interesting enough to make friends with. All of the people of Lake Charles are ultra square and have simple interests. If you're a teenager or a young adult, and you have esoteric interests, don't expect to find anyone here who shares your interests.

I'm not bashing the people; some of them are really nice, but they are extremely ignorant of the world outside of their city. Most of the people are very intolerant of others. For example, most of the people there tend to be religious and conservative.

Basically, Lake Charles is a shithole.

If "The Middle of Nowhere" had a name, it'd be "Lake Charles, Louisiana". I hate living here.

A shit town in the middle of nowhere Louisiana. There is nothing to do there except go to the mall or the movies. The people there are also really boring and unhip. Rarely you will find anyone who is interesting. Most of the kids are just losers trying to look and act gangsta and have no intelligence or intellect whatsoever.

If you're a hipster, stay the hell out of Lake Charles. The people really hate us here.

Lake Charles, Louisiana aka the shittiest, boringest town in the USA. It is directly north of I-10, inbetween Beaumont, Texas and Lafayette, Louisiana. If you ever take a roadtrip please avoid stopping at this town for a break as much as possible. Most people that live here are some of the most rudest, bitterist, racist, xenophobic, dumbest and uneducated pieces of shit you'll ever meet. The average IQ here is 89 which shouldn't be surprising seeing as it's full of narrow-minded baptistand catholicassholes. (Yeah, I'm an atheist. You got a problem with that?)

Most of the people that live here talk like they're braindead. Most notably that Rhonda Kitchens bitch on KPLC-TV.

The primary high school in lake charles is AM Barbe. This is the source of educated citizens living in Lake Charles. Most of these people are of substandard education, 60% of whom do not know where mexico is by the end of their college education. Of the entering freshmen class, 30% of people are high school dropouts..

The college in lake charles is Mcneese State University. This university is currently under review by SAACKS for academic substandard education.

Furthermore, this city is devoid of activity other than mardi gras and chemical production, the wastes being dumped into Lake Charles.

So basically, lake charles is a place where educated chemical engineers dump their waste.. its a toiletbowl of whitetrash and shit..
