What is Lapgazer?

A member of the audience at a live music venue where there are only seats, no standing room, and the band plays too many slow tracks, thus preventing audience participants from shoegazing, two stepping or moving in any way at all.
Did you enjoy that Goldfrapp show last night? Yeah, the music was great, but the crowd were all lapgazers because we had to sit.
