Acronym for Leysin American School, located in Leysin, Switzerland. Known for weekend drinking permission and ski season, the school population is made up of American ex-pats (usually who have been expelled from somewhere else) and students from 54 other countries wanting to learn English and go to school in the U.S. Students are subject to various abuses such as the IB curriculum, breathalyzing, a shitty dress code and cafeteria food that regularly gives people the runs. The school is run by a family that likes to eliminate the ski season and step on puppies.

If you are breathalyzed ever Friday and Saturday night, you are an LAS student
