A feeling of giddiness and irresponsibility that overcomes people on their last day at a job. Usually occurs when a person is leaving one company for a better job with another.

Does not ordinarily occur when someone gets canned.

Don't expect Jim to finish that report before he leaves, he's got a bad case of Last Day Itis.
