Lattenomics

What is Lattenomics?

1.

Starbucks latte coffee prices (read: expensive), used as a method to compare local currencies' buying value against the price of a regular cup of latte coffee with that of the US dollar as a 'pegging' level.

In Third World countries like Jordan, you'll be more than surprised to learn that the 'lattenomics' of the JOD (Jordanian Dinar=$0.71) is already taking action with just one franchise outlet opened by Starbucks three years ago! Too much monkey business for us regular Jordanians I tell you!
