A game of tag where one becomes it if they touch the ground; usually played at parks, or basically anywhere with enough stuff to jump around on without touching actual ground.
Common Lava Tag dialog-
Chris: Oh shit, I touched lava.
Odie: Haha, you're it.
Alecks: Why is the ground always lava?!
Daniel Tosh: Because you're poor.
