A red hot speed bump in life that stops you dead in your tracks, and makes you take a deep hard look at how you will proceed. This can be a dramatic experience, epiphany, quote, song, movie, etc. that unexpectedly forces you into a new awareness of life as you know it. They can be great assets when trying to fulfill dreams that require deeper life experience to reach success. They are especially valuable to artists, where expression is their profession. Typically, a wise elder can tell you how to find them.
I hit a lavabumpy yesterday when trying to give that speech in front of my entire office. Public speaking is a whole new world for me. I am really happy I overcame my fears.
