To pull or do something everyone will think is dumb. The person that usually does this will eventually feel stupid for doing it.
Charles " Hey David check out that e-mail I just sent you of this swoll guy he is bigger than incredible hulk."
David checks it and says " Dude that is so fake I can't even stop laughing. You just pulled a layton."
Charles " After taking a closer look and realizing the guy has green skin and it's not real I feel so stupid. I can't believe I just Laytoned."
