What is Ledyard Challenge?

A exhibitionist tradition at Dartmouth College. Students strip on the New Hampshire side of the Connecticut River, swim naked across to Vermont, and run back across the Ledyard Bridge, where the pick up their clothes (if they're lucky) or get picked up by Safety & Security (S&S) or the police (H-Po), if they're unlucky. A favored method of group bonding.
