Leo Sarcasm

What is Leo Sarcasm?

1.

I:An extreme form of sarcastic language that originated in the town of Leo, IN. The language incorporates the use of heavy sarcasm with long drawn out word usage. One may repeat something said by another in order to emphasize the ridiculousness of the said statement, these statements are usually uttered in high, almost squeaky voice. In contrast the same effect may be obtained by describing a situation with a sarcastic remark expressed very quickly.

One who is more experienced with the vernacular may be able to pick up certain ques from the discourse. Such as the term "cya" which is commonly used in response to someones remark. It usually means that said remark was "out of place" or just dumb. "cya ya there" may also be used if a destination is described by the speaker.

II: If one makes a remark using the sarcastic speech in order to express a fact or other observation. The person it is directed towards may respond in a normal to low tone with the correct representation of the said statement.

I: In reference to the definition above one who is using Leo Sarcasm may say.

"Exxxxperienced in the vernacular...."(in a high sarcastic sounding voice) More than likely in order to emphasize the complexity and ridiculousness of the verbiage used.

Jarred: "Did you know while at Purdue Drew Brees threw for over 11,500 yards?"

Anyone: "cya"
