What is Leomon?

A Digimon that appears in Seasons Two and Three of Digimon (see Digimon), playing quite an important part in both Seasons.

He dies in each, with his death playing as important a role as his life; particularly in Season Three, when he was the partner of Jeri Katou.

Poor Leomon. He dies way too much.

A lionlike sword-wielding digimon prone to heroically sacrificing itself to protect both worlds.
