An ex-human vampire that is at the point when they reject blood tablets and goes crazy for blood. Usually going on a rampage killing loads of humans at a time. Normally ending in an immediate execution.

From the manga and anime Vampire Knight by Hino Matsuri and La La productions.

Zero Kiryu an exhuman that went crazy trying to kill Yuki Cross (Yuki Kuran). Saved from level e by drinking the blood of an awakened pure blood vampire.
