What is Libertarian?

A former Republican who grew larger balls and decided to say fuck the establishment.
I became Libertarian once I fully understood the Constitution.

one who believes the only purpose of government is to protect the rights of its citizens, those rights being life, liberty and property
liberatarians could save the united states from socialism if only its citizens were not so stupid

A libertarian is someone who believes that you should have the freedom to do whatever you choose, other than to hurt or take away that freedom from someone else.
The only reason for the government is to make sure that people don't take away freedom of another person. Any extra rules enforced are not needed, and are an invasion of personal liberty.

4)Believe in the freedom to do as you wish as long as you don't hurt others.
5)Freedom, Liberty, Minimal Government.
I vote Libertarian because the biggest wasted vote is for another evil Republican or Democrat.

The political party that believes that the government should only be responsible for protecting citizen's physical property, including their lives.
Everything else is up to the individual and their personal desires/choides, including abortion, gun rights, drug use, gay marriage, charity.
Under a Libertarian governement, none of the above would be regulated nor prohibited, and the companies that would provide those services would be privatized, so that people could enjoy the best services at the lowest prices because companies would want to supply it, since the government wouldn't be funding or supporting them.
In other words, everything is based on the truth and accountability of the individual.

A libertarian is consdiered to be the "classic liberal" (i.e. the true american who believes in the principles this country was founded upon---private ownership and individual rights). What is an American, you ask? An American is a man who accepts others with open arms, who lets others live as they please because he expects the same respect from them. An American is a man who knows his rights, and defends them, but more importantly knows and respects the rights of his fellow man. An American is a man with honor and modesty, not a man who boasts his superiority over others. An American is a man who knows that his rights end where the rights of others begin, and that ALL men are created equal under whatever God he worships.
A libertarian passed by me the other day and gave me a dirty look, so I went into his home and stole all his property, seeing as how I'm an IRS agent and can legally get away theft.
