What is Live A Long Frugal Life?

1.

(I hope you) Live a long frugal life: The polite way to tell someone you hope they die a violent and painful death, most often because they are assholes. It would be used in this form if a conflict between two people is known to a community and one side gives up trying to work it out.

Two people are in the midst of a public known conflict. Person 1 tries to resolve it but Person 2 simply refuses to ackowlege the attempts and only furthers the fighting. After Person 1 gets tired of it and no longer interested in fighting or even in resolving it, he says, "I hope you live a long frugal life"
