a term of admiration for a close friend, or a friend whose full name is "Richard" and loves lollipops.
the story: I was calling my friend "Dick" for about a week even though her name is not "Richard". We called people "Lolly" as a term of endearment. One brilliant afternoon, "Lollydick" came to me and I've called anyone I care about a "Lollydick" ever since.
