What is Lolpics?

Captioned pictures that are sometimes called macros.

They consist of a normal or photo shopped image that has been paired with a random phrase that is usually silly, spelled wrong and uses incorrect sentence structure.

A photo of a cat making a funny face with the caption, "I can has cheezburger?" photo shopped into the image is one of the original lolpics.
