Using "AW" instead of the correct pronunciation are accents that most "WHITE" Long Islanders have. Black long islanders how ever don't have this accent. They speak just like everyone else from a New york hood. Especially if their from Nassau which is right on the border of Queens. (And to let you know, I'm black myself, so this isn't rascist.)
