What is Lopods?

A burrowing carnivorous mammal found on Long Island, New York, related to the pig-weasel and having a heavyset body, short legs and dark hair (if any). There is anecdotal evidence that they were originally from Brooklyn, New York but there is no evidence to support that claim. They have been seen as far north as Canada, wearing beer stained and ill-fitting NY Mets or Islanders Team Shirts. They eat often and drink like the hordes of hell. Most often seen in packs, blighting the sun with the dust they stir.
