Lost Consonant

What is Lost Consonant?

1.

Mistakenly omitting a consonant from a word, resulting in a sentance or phrase taking on a different meaning altogether. I first saw it used in a book by Graham Rawle, but I think it's a generic term.

After golf, David went for a drink in the cub bar.
