When you really care about a person that you know you can never be with. It hurts you to know that you can never be with them because your parents forbid you to see them, they are dating a close friend, etc. Knowing that you cannot be with them really hurts because you are in love with them.
I am absolutely lovebroken over Julie because she is dating Colleen and I know I will never be with her.
