Intense pressure to drink at a social event or night out. Lush Pressure is also common between housemates to drink on nights in. Phrases commonly used when applying Lush Pressure to another are: "why are you being so LAME!?"; "you are not the fun friend I know and love!"; "stop being such a wet-blanket".

I tried to take a vow of sobriety this week, but Ashley put so much Lush Pressure on me I ended up blacking out on a Monday."
