1. To play with the hair of the person sitting in front of you (as at school).
2. To groom someone's hair or appearance.
3. To pick something out of someone's hair usually without their knowledge; from the rhesus macac monkey, known for it's penchant for grooming.
teacher: "Don't macack her. You're supposed to be taking a test."
