Someone who has grave social disfunctionalities. For example, dislikes spending money and is often inappropriate amongst company.

(The derivation of a 'macko' is somewhat foggy. It is mainly used by young boys in English private schools. Could come from 'macintosh', which is considered a sad item of clothing. Could also come from the 1973 movie 'The Mack', which is seen by today's youth as lame and outdated - something their fathers might watch. The final possible derivation is from the contemporary poet Jefferson Mackowiak, who was recently controversially introduced onto the GCSE English literature curriculum, and whose work has not been well received by students or teachers).
