Mag To Grid

What is Mag To Grid?

1.

A term used in the British Armed Forces to mean, basically, Fuck off.

This term is derived from the term used in Map and Compass for finding the GMA. The rythme goes:

Grid to Mag, Add (+)

Mag to Grid, Get rid (-)

Get rid = Minus = Take away = Take off = Fuck off

It is often used as a more polite way of saying it or as a more jokey term between friends.

Although ' Fuck off' is not always used as a direct translation and it can be used in other ways:

Grid to Mag it = Leg it, etc.

I want you to Grid to Mag his ass, etc. = Get rid of him, Kill/Remove/Beat up him.

You get the idea...

Sergeant: Oi private! You got the Ammo i told you to bring from the Armoury?

Private: No sarnt!

Sergeant: Then Mag to Grid your ass over there now and bring it back!!

Private: Yes sarnt! *pegs it*
