2.

Malingsia is a nickname that is suitable for all Malaysian people. It was derived from the word "Maling" and the word "Malaysia". In Bahasa Indonesia, "Maling" means "Thief" in English.

As we know, Malaysia is a country that like to steals other country's cultural heritage. Many Indonesian heritage, such as Traditional Folk Songs, Dances, Traditional Clothes and Music Instruments (i.e = Rasa Sayange Songs, Batik Clothes, Gamelan etc). Not only Indonesian tradition they stole, but they claimed that some Chinese Food was their heritage also. They think that because Malaysia consists of different races (chinese, indian, malay etc), that will automatically made every culture from those races are theirs also.

Remember the slogan of Malaysia Tourism Campaign: "Malaysia, Truly Asia". Because they claim that in Malaysia all of the culture of Asia exist, and therefore made them Truly Asia.

Malaysia people think that this insinuation should made other people visit only Malaysia to taste the whole Asia cultures, so there is no need to visit other countries in Asia. This, is a very contemptuous perception against all other countries in Asia.

If Truly Asia still is their tourism campaign, it really shows that Malaysia is never proud of their own heritage, but they preffered to advertise other countries heritage as their own. This, truly shows that Malaysia is, malingsia after all.

Malingsia is a discriminative country with full of thieves.
