Chicano slang for a hardcore individual. A "bad ass". Someone acting in an aggressive manner. The baddest dude you know. Or can be used in a sarcastic way when a friend thinks he's too tough.
Bill: " I walked around staring down all them bikers, twirling my pool stick "
Jon: " Settle down malote!"
Mike: "Kobe is a fuckin beast!"
Jon: " He's too malote"
