A male friend who is a surrogate replacement of a girlfriend or spouse in a heterosexual way. MGs are in near constant communication and may talk more than an actual girlfriend or spouse. Similar to a wingman but with more responsibility, a man-girlfriend will do anything that is typically done by a girlfriend (other than sex).
