What is Markopoulo?

Markopoulo is a sorry excuse for a suburban town in southeastern Attica and a suburb of Athens, Greece. Not to be confused with 'Markopoulo Oropou' which has a higher average IQ by about 80 points. Markopoulo is identified by its ignorant natives, year-round flooded streets, wine production and 'moustokoulouro' cookies (which resemble dog turds but taste surprisingly good). It currently holds the world record for the most mid 90's 3 series BMWs owned by single, sex-depraved males in the world! It is also host to the 2004 Olympic games equestrian center.
