What is Markovnikov's Law?

1.

(see brown precipitate)

Derived from Nelson Advanced Chemistry but not relating to markovnikov's law in any way.

Mistakenly used to identify a process in which, gas is passed over a heated nickel catalyst to produce a brown precipitate.

"I just proved markovnikov's law!"
